Since 2005, we have been the official German distributor for the innovative product "BioThane®" from the USA, and are represented in over 30 countries. The high-tech material BioThane® consists of high-quality components. Thousands of products can be produced with various widths, strengths and colours. BioThane® is used for products from the areas of security, public administration, medicine, sports and animal husbandry. It will impress you here with its extreme tear-resistance, temperature-resistance and low maintenance, and has antibacterial properties. It complies with and fulfils all requirements regarding REACH (EU), CPSIA 2008 (China) and Prop 65 (California), and is thus harmless to people and animals. Dog and horse owners in particular enjoy the advantages of the material, as BioThane® is outstandingly suited to the production of leashes, collars, halters and reins, among other things.

EKT Thalheim & Das Kofferwerk GmbH was established in 1998 from the former Thalheim case factory in Germany's Ore Mountains. Out of the existing operations for the production of travel cases and bags, the products have been adapted to meet the current demand of the market and the required parameters for our certification as per DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008. Having renewed our entire fleet of machinery, trained up specialist personnel and established our own CAD department, we can produce all kinds of covers, technical containers, packages and special items according to customer wishes and price requirements. We develop, manufacture and sell custom sewed products as well as technical cases and bags. In doing so, we combine the traditional craftsmanship of a small-scale enterprise with the latest methods in manufacturing. The requirements of our valued customers remain at the forefront of our entrepreneurial activities.
