TME yra šeimyninė, jau nebe pirmos kartos valdoma įmonė, veikianti nuo 1990 m. Viskas prasidėjo nuo nedidelės remontui ir smulkiai gamybai skirtų elektroninių elementų parduotuvės, kurią Lenkijos mieste Lodzėje įkūrė. Po dvejų metų TME sudarė savo pirmąjį katalogą ir pradėjo, tais laikais novatorišką, siunčiamąją elektroninių elementų prekybą. Besivystant Lenkijos bei kitų Vidurio bei Rytų Europos šalių ekonomikoms, TME įgijo vis daugiau naujų klientų ir savo asortimentą nuolatos pildė naujomis prekių grupėmis. 1997 m. buvo pastatyta dabartinė firmos pagrindinė buveinė – šiuolaikiškas logistikos centras su sandėliais, kurių plotas nuo to laiko jau keliskart padidėjo. Laikui bėgant TME taip pat pradėjo prekybą interneto parduotuvės pagalba, o aptarnavimo standartas patvirtintas sertifikatu ISO 9001: 2009 bei 14001: 2005. Šiuo metu TME yra vienas didžiausių pasaulyje elektros, elektrotechnikos komponentų, dirbtuvių įrangos ir pramoninės automatikos platintojų. Lenkijoje esančioje centrinėje buveinėje ir kitose šalyse veikiančiose priklausomose įmonėse dirba daugiau nei 700 darbuotojų.
